“Developing poly(ester amide)s nanofibers as wound dressing materials for sequential modulation of arginine metabolism.” National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC 52103187) as PI.
Wound healing involves biochemical and multicellular events with sequential complexity. Arginine metabolism is an alternative strategy for developing wound healing materials with capabilities for regulating the wound microenvironment. The project explores the design strategy of bioactive wound dressing materials with broad tunability and adaptability to address the challenges from different wound stages, with sequential regulation of wound microenvironment to facilitate the healing process.
